Who built the pyramids?

Even after several centuries of existence, no historian or archaeologist is able to provide us with a concrete proof regarding the mystery surrounding the great pyramids. The mystery being 'who built it?" Some say the Egyptians built it while some say Aliens built it, and the remaining still remain clueless. This gigantic structure is built with such great precision that it makes us think no normal human could have built it. Whats more fascinating about it is it's location on the face of our planet. This pyramid lies in the center of gravity of the continents. It's location divides the earth's land masses into almost equal parts.

Probability Error

In maths, there is a great topic called probability. The probability is basically the chance of something happening or the probability of something not happening. The most common and classic example used to demonstrate probability is the result obtained while tossing a coin. The probability for heads is given as 0.5 and the probability for tails is given as 0.5. This is because the two possible outcomes of tossing a coin are heads and tails. Are we missing something here? While tossing a coin, there can also be another result where the coin stands vertically neither falling on either faces. Doesn't that mean the third result should also be included while determining the probability? Think.

Brick house vs Wood house

I like to collect details about houses. Different countries have different style of building houses. I now this because I travel a lot and have been to many places. For instance, a vast majority of the houses in the United Kingdom are built of stones. A similar construction method can be found in India, SriLanka and other Asian countries. Whereas, most of the houses in the United States are constructed using wood. Both methods of construction have their own advantages as well as disadvantages. Stone houses are fire and water resistant. Wood houses are not fire and water resistant. Wood houses doesn't last as long as stone houses. Wood houses are preferred in the United States just because they have a resistance value of 5 compared to that of brick's 0.43. What difference is it going to make anyway? Ultimately, the appearance and the durability of the house is what matters the most.

Cool Remix

There are a lot of remix songs coming out today and not all of them make as huge an impact as the original. Though I'm not in for remix songs, I'll make one remix song an exception. The remix that I'm talking about is the remix of the famous song "My heart will go on" from the blockbuster movie "Titanic". The original version of this song itself is a classic. The original song made me think whether any song can come close to the quality of this song leave alone surpassing it. I got my answer after listening to the remix of this song. The remix off the song had the same lyrics with some unique hiatus in between that added to the beauty of it. This song also had a periodic rhythmic folk beat throughout. In all, the remix is an absolute beauty.

Obsessed with gaming

If there is one thing that I like to do other than eating and sleeping, its playing video games. I'm not the type of gaming addict who sticks to only one particular type of game. I like all types of video games. As a matter of fact, I'm addicted to all sorts of video games ranging from low quality, low resolution video games to the best seen till date. Gaming became a passion to me right from my childhood and as the days went by, it became an obsession. My obsession for gaming has remained the same till date and I guess it won't change anytime soon!

Oops, I messed it up!

I have always been a true glutton and a pathetic cook. I have a virtually abyss tummy and I can take in any quantity of food I want! One day, after returning from a birthday party, I wanted to prepare a similar cuisine that was served in the party. As I mentioned before, I am a pathetic cook. I didn't know where to start and what to do. Just when I thought of giving up the idea, my determination got the best of me. So, I decided to surf the net to get the proper recipe. Luckily, I found it and thus began my great cuisine preparation. I was done with the work in about one hour. The result, well, it was horrible to say the least. I made a total mess of my kitchen and utensils and what's worse? I had to go to sleep with my stomach grumbling.

Laser Light

Yesterday, I saw a video on how to build a laser light using the lens of a DVD burner(technically, the laser diode), two AA batteries and something that could make the body of the device. The video was so intriguing and appealing that I decided to carry out the instructions given in the video and presto, it worked! I made a cool Blue ray laser upon following the instructions. The laser was indeed powerful. It lit up match sticks within seconds and pierced plastic casings in less than five seconds. I had fun the whole day playing around with my newly laser. Am going to use for further experimentation tomorrow. Hope I don't harm myself.
